Concept Paper details: Many clients have a resistance towards being prescribed with psychotropic medication due to such factors as side effects, being dependent on the medication, having to take the medication for the rest of their life, etc. and as a result, there is a movement towards using alternative forms of treatment (i.e., biofeedback for ADHD, holistic medicine, hypnotherapy, EMDR).
