Criterion Essay

Criterion Essay Order Description Criterion has commissioned you to write an essay for the new Blu-ray release of your favorite classic film. Choose any film from before 1945 and write a 3–4 page essay that analyzes a specific theme or motif in the film and/or contextualizes within history speaking to its social, political, aesthetic, and economic impact. This is not to be a basic film review or a gushing session on why such and such film is so incredibly great. Also, please be very concise with any sort of plot description. Double-spaced, MLA format, please cite at least two sources other than the textbook, of which one must be an actual book or academic journal article!).
