  Cross Cultural Comparisons Select two different comtries and compare their family values, beliefs, etc. For option 2: Cross cultural comparison between 2 countries. 1. Introduction: What are the family issues from these 2 countries? Brief summaries of each country's family issue (were there potential trends and patterns?) 2. Discussion: Which theoretical perspective “best” fits these two counties- Is family changing in these 2 countries? Why or why not? (Use sowces to support your argument, Hint: Thornton's 2001). Examine the similarities and differences between these two countries. (Example, were the family tradition the same? Marriage values? Childbearing? Divorce views? etc). Who is affected by this? Local or global? Or both? 3. Conclusion: Describe possible solutions for these countries- If you do not see it as a problem, what are some future directions? 4.
