CUL485;Theme Analysis Paper There will be a total of 10 films screened, and we will be discussing based on readings from your texts. Wherever possible I have used films referenced in the texts to help frame the central issues. You will be required to write one 3 - 5 page analysis comparing and contrasting ONE of the films chosen against another film (you will view on your own) that also attempts to address a similar issue. If you are unsure of the comparison please contact me. Begin by a summary of the issues and how these are defined in the films. You will then compare and contrast the film, judging the efficacy of their attempts to support or denounce the decisions made by the central figures. You MUST reference the course text at least twice for each of your analyses. Proper citation format is required. Be sure to include a title page with your name, student number and the theme you will be analyzing, as well as the films being discussed.
