In spite of the cultural differences that exist among the protagonists of "Two Kinds," "House on Mango Street" and "The Lesson," how do the protagonists from these stories demonstrate universal emotions and conflicts that are shared by all humans regardless of culture or race. :What are universal emotions and/or conflicts that are felt by all people regardless of their cultural differences?
