Decolonization of education

  Scholar Chandra Mohanty challenges other scholars to “decolonize our disciplinary thoughts and pedagogical practices”. What does it mean to decolonize education? Why is it necessary? Given the examples of how whiteness shapes literature, history, and anthropology, offer an example of how to “decolonize” schooling and education.
