For 30 years democracy has been a key element of development. Has this improved development outcomes?
Examine for Egypt and analyze your hypothesis.
Review both the readings and the data from the World Bank,
Freedom House, and the OECD. Using the country you chose for the first paper, analyze how
the country performed over the last 15 years in democracy indicators. Has performance in
democratic indicators improved or hindered economic development?
