Discuss the operational reality of development and personality, but does little to address why?
The evolutionary perspective would have us simply accept development as a process that has developed over
millions of years - but what reason is there for development? What is the goal of development? Why develop
personality at all? Why grow old? Why fear death? What do you think? Is there a teleology of development
(you may have to look teleology up)?
