1. Share your thoughts about DSLRs and smartphones. What are the differences and similarities? Share an experience of using either tool to photograph an image
2. What are some ways in which you would compose an image? Think of a scene, describe what it is, the lighting, location, camera angle, and subject matter.
3. Describe a scenario that describes how shutter speed, aperture,d ISO affect each other. For example, I am at a sunny beach. As a result, my aperture/lens opening should be small because there is so much light. However. I want the background of my subject matter to blur to bring more attention to the people(subject) I am photographing. They are in the foreground. Therefore, closer to me. To get this effect, I have to open the aperture but this will allow more light (over exposure). I balance this setting for exposure by using a faster shutter speed and making sure the ISO is low. Have fun imagining an environment.
