  Think about the different ways people interact with the law in the course of their daily lives. Write a discussion post in which you respond to the following prompt: Identify a key event in your life-whether it is your first day of school, your marriage, getting your driver's license, or some other important event-and identify the law or laws that relate to that event. Identify the source of that law, and discuss the social, political, and/or social context in which that law was enacted. Your initial post should be four or five sentences in length.
