Throughout the Old Testament, God demonstrates his concern not only for Israel but for all the nations of the world, laying the groundwork for Jesus’ Great Commission to “make disciples of every nation” (Matt. 28:19). Using one example each from the Pentateuch, the Historical Books (Joshua through Esther), and the Prophets (Isaiah through Malachi), provide an example of how God demonstrates concern for a specific Gentile or a group of Gentiles and explain how that should influence your attitude and actions toward those who are not disciples of Jesus.
