Early Christian art

  In Early Christian art, the Good Shepherd functioned as a coded reference to Christ. However, by the fifth century, Christ was explicitly depicted as the Good Shepherd and an emperor. In a one page essay and using two examples from the textbook, describe and analyze this iconographical shift in the representation of Christ.
