Effective Bilingual and ESOL Education Programs

1. Investigate the topic of Effective Bilingual and ESOL Education Programs
2. Research the topic as thoroughly as possible using multiple sources of information.
3. Write the research paper (5-10 pages each), which identifies the key elements of the module topic you are investigating. The paper should include the following sections:

o Introduction: (1) Identification of the problem or issue – Why is this topic an issue or problem?; (2) The significance of the problem – What effect does this problem have and why is it a problem or issue?; (3) Identification of key terms.
o Literature Review (What does the research literature say about this problem or issue?)
o Critique (What are your feelings about the problem or issue? Why do you feel this way? If you could solve this problem, what would you do?)
