    Union membership in the United States labor force is at its lowest since 1939. Express your opinion about the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of American labor unions at this point in history. What are the strength and weaknesses of the modern unions. To what do you attribute the current decline? Should a worker be allowed to vote for the institution of a new union at a ballot outside the workplace when the business currently does not have a union, or should such an election occur at the workplace?
