Environmental Health Policy Influence for environmental Justice

  Westside Atlanta’s Superfund Site: Improving Health & Environmental Justice Policy influence strategy: Students will work to develop a detailed strategy for influencing policy on the selected topic above. The strategy should cover the following: (i) Background (ii) identify at least three specific aims to be advanced, (iii) explain and justify why these were prioritized, (iv) describe the main power (political and economic) and science (knowledge) barriers to advancing these aims, (v) describe in detail the specific tactics/media to be pursued to achieve the aims of the strategy, and (vi) explain how the effectiveness of the strategy will be monitored and assessed.
