Epilepsy is seizure disorder

Epilepsy is seizure disorder caused by disturbance of nerve cells in the brain. I myself have never experienced epilepsy nor know anyone who has this disorder. I work in the hospital so I have seen multiple times where patients have had elipesy. Febrile seizure is caused by a spike in temperature above 38 degrees Celsius and a febrile seizure is a temperature of less than a temperature of 38 degrees Celsius. The difference between first and second generation of anticonvulsants is price and side effects. With the first generation you are more likely to have a higher risk of neurological side effects and with the second generation you are more likely to get metabolic side effects. It has been found that second generation anticonvulsants though more expensive, have less side effects than first generation. Examples of first generation anticonvulsants include carbamazepine, phenobarbital, and soduim valproate. The second generation include gabapentin, vigabatrin, and tiagabine.
