ESL test Order Description Due date: Thursday, 24 March 2016 – Electronic submission only; no hard copy required Write a set of Test Specifications for the ESL proficiency or achievement test that you intend to write , including the following: • Test specifications • Instructions to candidates • Criterial levels of performance For the purposes of this assignment, you should consult Chapter 7 of Hughes (2003), and write your specifications in a format similar to his model and the sample Test Specifications provided in the course notes. Organise these in the way that works best for your test planning; don’t feel you have to follow the other formats exactly. (When submitting the electronic version, you will notice that there is no Turnitin report, due to the somewhat repetitive nature of the headings of the specifications.)
