Event Critiques

Event Critiques Attendance of five public events is required for this course. The primary focus of this class is music; therefore, at least three of these events must be music related. The remaining events may be from the visual arts; i.e., plays or art exhibitions. For each event a one page, type written review is to be submitted within one week of attending the event. These reviews may be written in terms of the following criteria: 1.the media of the art (style of music), 2.the setting,programming and pace of the event, 3.the relationship among the performers on stage. 4.the relationship between the performer(s) and the audience. 5.your reaction to the event or art presented. Each critique will be graded on grammar, style, and thought.
