Family Assessment and Interventions
Order Description
• Student will complete a family assessment based on the CFAM (Part 1) and propose a minimum of 2 nursing interventions that will be beneficial to the family members
(Part 2).
• The student is required to complete a family interview and obtain the assessment data. See Family Selection Confidentiality Guidelines located in this manual.
• Informed consent must be obtained from the family that is interviewed. See Consent Form for Family Interview located in this manual. The consent form must be
received by your Faculty by the date the paper is due. If the consent is not received, the Faculty cannot read (or mark) the paper, and the paper will be graded as 0
marks. Please use the submission tool on UR courses to submit this key document.
• The writing will demonstrate your new knowledge about family nursing and application of the CFAM & CFIM, including your evidence, analysis & critical thinking.
• Professional nursing language used by ‘family nurses’ will be integrated.
• Paper will be written with an academic tone and in 3rd person and meet APA standards (an abstract is not necessary).
• between 6-8 pages (not including cover page, references and appendixes). • Paper will include appendices DRAW !!!(Genogram and Ecomap).
