Family Theories There are four main theories that are used to understand family function and they are: Family Systems Theory, Human Ecology Theory, Exchange Theory and the Family Development Theory Please explain each theory in 4 or 5 sentences each and answer the following two questions: If you were a practicing CFLE (Certified Family Life Educator) which theory might you use over the others? Which theory do you find the most difficult to use as a basis for Family Life Education (FLE) Programs?
