Doing some research (nothing more than 5 years old) and present an argument that women think differently than men (or that they do not) and that they process morality matters differently (or they do not).
Lucero Garibay
I personally do not believe that morality can be separated by gender. It does not matter if you are male or female, if you are moral, you are moral. However, I do believe that women and men come to conclusions very differently. Part of this could simply be our culture, we expect men and women to represent certain roles. Growing up the phrase boys will be boys was constantly an excuse while girls were simply expected to know better. Interestingly enough while doing some research I found that it was hard to prove that women really do mature faster. According to, “Why is it said that women are more mature” research is actually inconclusive and “Men have the ability to be mature they just choose not to, it’s really as simple as that.” With that being said while reading, “Are Women More Ethical Than Men?” I found that most of the social injustices are due to cultural norms. We expect woman to be delicate, motherly, and loving. While we hold men to a completely opposite expectation; strong, assertive, and aggressive. Maybe these expectations worked in an era where men had to hunt and fight to protect their tribe. But we are now in a much more educated, evolved, and safer world. Woman are just as capable as men and constantly prove that. If men and women are taking ethical shortcuts, they are simply choosing to do so it’s not science, its decision making.

Topic B: Women, testosterone and sports
Do some research and present an argument that women with more naturally occurring testosterone should or should not be banned from competing against other women.
Diamond Turner
Nearly all great athletes in any sport that requires serious athleticism have higher than average amounts of testosterone. Do you think Dion Sander’s and Bo Jackson’s testosterone levels were within one standard deviation of the mean? Or Usain Bolts? Or Serena Williams? Or just about any other great athlete on the planet? Testosterone is the primary hormone that leads to athleticism in men and women; of course, the best athletes have higher than average testosterone. This is like banning Usain Bolt from sprinting competition because he is too fast; that’s what sports are all about.
And guess what else; you know what raises testosterone in men and women? Competitiveness and consistent athletic training. In other words, the more challenging and more consistently you train and the more focused you are on competing (which all competitive athletes should be), the more testosterone you will have naturally. Restrictions on competing on natural athletes go against the human rights of those female athletes. If the woman is confirmed as biologically female, XX chromosomes and testosterone levels result from her natural biology, then “yes” she should be allowed to compete. If higher than average testosterone results from drugs and cheating, she should be banned and any medals or records stripped.
