independent research, you will be asked to critique the logframe approach to
planning, monitoring and evaluation (1 ,500 words :I: 1096)-
You critique should answer the question: What are three main benefits of the logframe
approach for program planning, monitoring and evaluation? What are two major
limitations of the logframe approach for planning, monitoring and evaluation, and what
should be done to manage these limitations?
In you critique, you are expected to consider some of the practical implications of
adopting the logframe approach in the field in LMlC settings, including implications for
program implementation-
Criteria for marking: Assessment Task 2 will be marked out of 15 and assessed for
content (5 marks), breadth (5 marks), and depth and critical argument (5 marks)-
For Assessment Task 2, you are asked to write a short critique of the logical
framework approach-
You are expected to base this critique on concepts discussed in class, as well as
you own independent research- You critique should aduess some of the practical
implications of adopting the logframe approach in the field in low- and middle-income
country settings- We expect that you critique will (raw on a minimum of 6 academic
references-
