The creative contributions of the great American author, Ernest Hemingway, have shaped literature and culture for decades. Born in 1899 to Dr. Clarence Hemingway and Grace Hall-Hemingway, Ernest was one of six children. An avid hunter and fisherman from a young age, he developed his unique writing style early on while developing skills as an outdoorsman. His formal education during high school included courses such as Latin, algebra, Spanish, rhetoric and English composition; however, it was his informal education that truly helped to shape his creative contributions in the field of literature.
Growing up hunting with his father allowed Ernest to learn about nature first hand and develop a deep understanding of its beauty which would later be reflected in his works such as The Old Man and the Sea. Furthermore living through both world wars gave him direct experience with violence which would also be present in many of his stories such as A Farewell to Arms or For Whom the Bell Tolls. Additionally traveling around Europe exposed him to different cultures giving him a larger worldview which was captured expertly in The Sun Also Rises or Death In The Afternoon where he explored different versions of culture found throughout Spain or Italy respectively. All together these experiences combined with an insatiable appetite for reading (ranging from Shakespearean plays all the way down to pulp fiction) created a perfect storm that brought forth some of the greatest novels ever written throughout history like The Snows Of Kilimanjaro or The Garden Of Eden among others.
Family life played an important role not just for providing inspiration but also practicality when it came time for rearing children since he had four marriages throughout his lifetime along with three sons named Patrick who died shorty after birth due too complications at delivery time , Jack who committed suicide at age 27 by shooting himself , Gregory who survived till 2002 dying due to heart problems . Some consider this long list failures when it comes family relationship yet most experts believe there were other factors contributing than just Mr Hemigways influence . He did stay connected emotionally even though physical distance kept them far apart . His personality could be seen thorough out all aspects being described by colleagues as hardworking , strong willed individual driven by passion (for writing ) yet shy due enough insecurity related issues . Such attributes can be admired today still today even though non are considered ideals especially considering their consequences .
Comparing my own self against Mr Hemingway is quite difficult given our vast differences but I can say one thing we both share is having ambition driving us forward when faced with obstacles during our respective journeys towards success ; we also find joy within artistic pursuits that help us express more clearly what words cannot describe alone , no matter how much effort we might put into being precise whenever penning pieces meant represent ourselves accurately : We understand true mastership come through continuous practice over years doing something until excellence is reached not overnight despite popular beliefe ; Last but not least resilience has been key factor keep working tirelessly towards goals regardless circumstances trying stop progression either external events internal doubts / hesitation moments may arise now then luckily overcoming those before continuing progress forward another day
