Jornal Instructions:
For chapter 9 and 10 in ONE page. First, reflect on the pedagogical readings. Ask yourself the following question, which idea, or approach to teaching that I
read resonated with or has affected me? You can also address the following question, was there anything new I learned and how is this challenging my
understanding about teaching? Second, develop concrete examples of ways you would use the pedagogy you learned to teach the period in US History. So for
example, ask this question to yourself: How would I teach Reconstruction using Emdin’s approaches to teaching? Finally, reflect on the class discussion.
Consider the following questions, what did the group do that I could use as an instructor? What lesson or idea that we discussed affected or resonated with me
and why?
For chapter 11 and Conclusion in ONE page. First, reflect on the pedagogical readings. Ask yourself the following question, which idea, or approach to
teaching that I read resonated with or has affected me? You can also address the following question, was there anything new I learned and how is this
challenging my understanding about teaching? Second, develop concrete examples of ways you would use the pedagogy you learned to teach the period in US
History. So for example, ask this question to yourself: How would I teach Capital and Labor in US History using Emdin’s approaches to teaching? Finally,
reflect on the class discussion. Consider the following questions, what did the group do that I could use as an instructor? What lesson or idea that we
discussed affected or resonated with me and why?
You should be addressing all three of these parts. Please single space your journals This means that you should not summarize.
Also I want you to provide me a similarity report (similarity report means when you send me a link to show me if you have plagiarized or not).
