Write an 800-1000 word response to each of question listed below. I. Gender construction. How have ideas of femininity changed over time? Have they? Select three artists and discuss the ways in which they represent femininity in their work and the factors (time, place, personal experience, etc.) that affected the way they represented it. Norms in subject matter, composition, and technique have traditionally been established by men. Choose two women from two different centuries and compare the ways in which they conformed to norms in order to achieve fame and fortune.
