Write an abstract of your research project paper. An abstract is a short encapsulation of your planned argument and avenues of investigation. This kind of paper looks to answer the what and how of your research project by discussing what you propose to argue (critical researched argument) or to investigate (researched topic) as well as how you propose to find the conversations and texts foundational to your argument/ topic. You should consider what methodologies you anticipate using as well. Abstracts are usually presented in APA formatted papers rather than MLA papers; however, for this class, an abstract can be a useful tool in guiding your research and in formulating your argument.
