Details of task:
In this academic paper, you are expected to explore issues associated with “globalization” and “English as an International Language” (EIL).
You are expected to interview at least three speakers of English, including bilinguals or multilinguals, and find out
1) how they understand “globalization”;
2) what their views are on English being globalized into an “International Language”, and in the meantime localized into different varieties of English (e.g. Indian English, Nigerian English, and Chinese English);
3) how they associate their use of English with their identities.
This is an academic paper. You are expected to include a minimum of 10 references.
