      Select a controversial public health topic that interests you. Briefly describe the issue, and characterize your position. The essay should be no more than two (2) double-spaced pages (not including references). The purpose of this assignment is to: 1) provide the opportunity for you to briefly investigate a current public health issue of your choosing and 2) give you practice at writing a concise, yet compelling, document. Be sure to include at least two peer-reviewed references. Present your references using a standard format you find in a peer-reviewed journal.
