In a short paper of about 1-2 pages (no more than 500 words), discuss one of the assigned stories in light of at least two literary terms. For example, you might discuss “Harrison Bergeron” in terms of character and irony, or “A Rose for Emily” in terms of character and setting. Take a look at the sample I provide, but if after reading the sample you still feel lost for a topic, feel free to reach out to me. Before you do, try to narrow down your favorite assigned story and what makes that story significant (i.e., would “A Tell-Tale Heart be quite the same if told by another narrator? Likely not! You may steal this topic if you wish 🙂
