Sample Solution
A hate crime is any criminal offense motivated by prejudice or hatred towards a protected class of individuals, such as people based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity/expression or sexual orientation. It could be an act of vandalism, property destruction, assault or murder committed against someone due to their membership in one of these groups.
Matthew Shepard was a 21-year-old American gay student at the University of Wyoming who was brutally attacked and murdered in October 1998 by two men because he identified as gay. The attackers targeted him solely because of his sexual orientation and had planned the attack beforehand with the intention to harm him for being gay. This made it a clear hate crime against members of the LGBT+ community.
The Charleston church shooting occurred when Dylann Roof entered Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church and opened fire on parishioners during their Bible study group in June 2015. Nine people were killed that day simply because they were black - Roof specifically stated he wanted to start a race war between blacks and whites by targeting this predominantly black church congregation which makes it another clear example of a hate crime driven by racism and white supremacy.
Private Barry Winchell was murdered in July 1999 after enduring months of homophobic bullying from fellow army personnel due to his sexual orientation. He was bludgeoned with a baseball bat while sleeping off duty in his barracks due to the fact that he identified as transgender which ultimately led to his death making it another case involving an individual targeted solely due ot their sexuality - once again making this an example of a hate crime against members fo the LGBT+ community.
Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, Deah Shaddy Barakat, and Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha were three young Arab Americans who were all shot at point blank range inside their home near North Carolina State University in February 2015 for no other reason than being Muslim according to police reports confirming it as an anti-Muslim hate crime that has become all too common across America today unfortunately..
If this particular case occurred in my community I'm sure there would be immense shock and disbelief throughout everyone involved since we are relatively small town without much violence occurring here ever let alone something like this horrific event happening here so suddenly without warning - especially since our community generally celebrates diversity yet remains relatively tolerant but still ignorant about issues related to those outside our majority population such as those within minority communities including individuals identifying with any sort one way or another within either the LGTBQIA+ spectrum or religions other than Christianity just like Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha did before her tragic passing here along with Deah Shaddy Barakat & Razan Mohammad Abu-Salhas'. So naturally I believe both short term gatherings followed up long term experiences involving educational programming alongside volunteer work should take place here if something like this happened just so people can come together peacefully & productively despite experiencing something so painful together emotionally speaking prior first - understandably so given how emotional & personal affects crimes like these have upon otherwise peaceful communities everywhere worldwide not just locally much less especially cases dealing directly with issues concerning such highly sensitive topics surrounding identities such as those amongst certain religious faiths & orientations alike .
In order for local Criminal Justice organizations within my community address impacts similar events might have upon us though I think developing more meaningful relationships through additional training utilizing resources made available through task force units specifically designed upon preventing further instances regarding Hate Crimes overall should absolutely occur firstly before anything else instead preferably possible whilst simultaneously providing them access moreover also any respective support needed going forward which must happen sooner rather then later frankly speaking if only avoid potential future tragedies altogether even if only hopefully theoretically speaking meanwhile proceeding onwards regardless ideally either way eventually presumably speaking whenever possible somehow hopefully someday soon somehow thankfully somehow eventually afterall besides realistically however actually almost certainly perhaps finally truthfully somewhat realistically honestly possibly potentially urgently afterwards probably afterwards sometime afterward i guess anyway whatever maybe most likely anyways ...
Three specific action items meant towards helping prevent further Hate Crimes from occurring are: First starting public awareness campaigns aimed directly at teaching history lessons about civil rights movements both past present future; Secondly creating safe spaces meant specially for different minority groups (LGBTQIA+, Non Christian Religions Etc); Thirdly implementing restorative justice strategies into existing systems already established around domestically punishing criminals accordingly based on severity degree type etc per say
