The two healthcare associations I chose are the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM).
The AANP is a professional membership organization for nurse practitioners. It serves as a resource for NPs providing education, advocacy and leadership development. They promote excellence in patient care through evidence-based practice, research, collaboration and policy work. Their annual conference provides education on clinical topics relevant to primary care, sessions on how to better manage one’s practice & business skills, networking opportunities with other health professionals and industry leaders, career & job fairs as well as an exhibit hall featuring products & services related to advanced nursing practice. The presentations usually take the form of verbal presentations, panel discussions or posters.

Yes this would be an excellent venue for me to present my final research project since it offers a platform where experts from various backgrounds come together to discuss current trends in access management while exchanging ideas & solutions which could further lead to advancements in our field's understanding of existing problems/issues and potential ways forward when tackling them. Furthermore by attending one of these conferences I'd not only get valuable feedback about my research project but gain insight into what other people are doing which might inspire future projects/initiatives I'm involved with down the line - something that isn't available online!
