Illumination Correction for Retinal Vessel Extraction Paper details: Our research concerns the detection of diabetic symptoms during preliminary stages. The detection happens through image processing of x-rayed retinal images belonging to diabetic patients. The image processing aids in removing noise such as flecks, discoloration and illuminating unclear vessels. Matlab is the software used for processing the images. We must submit a paper regarding this topic and the methods we used (or plan to use) to aid in the objective. Enclosed are three research papers for the literature review and two papers for the methodology (with the methods used highlighted) as well as the detailed template on how to form the report. We are asking for your help in constructing this report.
