    Impact of Laws Many laws enacted by federal, state, and local governments can significantly impact healthcare organizations. The implementation of these laws may periodically differ or change from the original intent of those laws, and the changes can have profound implications on the strategic, tactical, and operational activities of the organization. Legal compliance is routinely mandated while noncompliance may threaten the continued existence of the organization and result in a host of invoked civil and criminal remedies levied against the organization and their fiduciary representatives. Research federal, state, or local laws that may impact the healthcare industry. Write an analysis of the impact of laws on healthcare organizations. • Select and describe five to seven federal, state, or local laws that potentially impact your selected client organization. • Denote the parameters of the laws. • Explain how each selected law may impact your selected client organization with respect to compliance and noncompliance. Comment on whether the laws enhance or inhibit the organization’s actions and support the commentary with relevant information justifying those comments. Organize the information in a matrix.
