In spite of differences between aviation and health care, the similarities are more striking

Question: In spite of differences between aviation and health care, the similarities are more striking. Both developed a dysfunctional hierarchical culture that substantially increases risk for its customers and patients. Aviation did something about it with dramatic results meaning flying is now incredibly safe. This was following a very high profile airline accident in the 1970’s.
