Watch the following short video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwSB__Ugo1s – about measuring income inequality and understanding the GINI Coefficient (or index as it is also called). Then, choose a country (first come first served – no duplicates please) and find it’s GINI coefficient (there are several sources for this). Then, go to the World Inequality Data base – https://wid.world/ and find this country’s historical inequality trend graph. Based on these indicators, and on any other research you choose to do, write a few paragraphs about income inequality in the selected country. It’s always nice to include a chart as long as you talk about it.
