a) Formulate a managerial problem; b) Justify why the research topic is important from a managerial point of view; c) Identify clear research questions, that are of a scope suitable for doctoral research in business administration; d) Position your research within a body of existing academic literature (i.e. Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Information System Management, etc..), Identify gaps and use the literature to justify the need for further research; e) Suggest a consistent methodology, including methods for data collection and analysis f) Explain the potential impacts of your research both from a managerial and academic standpoint.
