Then do the following: 1.If you need to install an IM program,e.g.,download AIM from www.aim.com. 2.Run the Installer program. 3.Generate a username and password, and then log in. 4.Start the sniffer program, and then set it to capture all traffic. 5.Start a chat session with a partner in the class. 6.Analyze if the connection is encrypted or not (i.e., can yousee the cleartext?).
