Q was are passages in this book that are among the most interesting and powerful in all of media theory. But it's also a tough book to fully grasp and get your arms around. Therefore, don't be afraid to ask questions of your fellow students in this week's discussion board posts.
Remember, you need to make TWO qualifying posts in this discussion board to get credit for the week.
What is a qualifying post? It's a post that:
1) contains at least 100 words of content
2) meaningfully engages with the readings and the film.
Writing 100 words about how much you enjoyed the film is not a qualifying post, but writing 100 words thoughtfully applying the readings to the film definitely is. As always, what I am looking for is evidence that you read the material and made an honest effort to think through it. It's not at all important whether your thoughts are right or wrong (as if that's even a thing!)--just show me what you think of the material. Apply it to your life or to your own media relationships.
