• Read Chapter 1, “Intro to Technical Communication” in Technical Communication (begins on page 2—scroll to the bottom of the table of contents for the chapter • Look over “Document Analysis Activity,” page 14, at the end of the chapter. Make notes for discussion • Find an owner’s manual (there are lots of these online) that you could use for Exercise 2 (in the exercises at the end of the chapter)
