By observing live jazz performances and concerts (or in this case, videos, for the purpose of this course),
students become exposed to a diverse range of jazz musicians along with music from a variety of different
composers and arrangers. In addition to further developing a broad range of musical interests and tastes,
it is also essential for students to be able to describe and express the experience of a live performance
through written format
