Scenario
John and Kate have been in a relationship for several years. Both feel like they have put so much into their relationship (time, money, they live together and have bought things together), but their relationship is failing.
Both people feel “for all they do for the other person, they are not getting enough out.” In reality, they are not liking each other much anymore. They never share stories or laugh together. They are never romantically intimate. John and Kate both wonder what life would be without one another or with someone else.
