Journal five is a one page reaction to the film including a full paragraph plot summary (in your own words). That
plot summary can be used later in your Research Paper.
Your reaction should focus on one or two aspects that caught your attention, and this can be an expansion of
your Discussion Board post.
Some possible focus points:
- The political views
- The cinematography
- The allusion to Balzac and Western literature
- The portrayal of differences between rural and urban characters
Your points can include these or any of your own ideas, or even ideas that were brought up in discussion that
you would like to explore further.
