Karl Marx: On Alienation

Marx develops a concept alienation that is rooted in the work environment created by capitalism. Do you think alienation is historically determined as Marx suggests (and therefore can be changed) or do you think alienation is simply part of the human condition (and therefore cannot be changed)?
