landscape Order Description We turn our attention to the re-design of the National Mall in Washington D.C.. When conceived of in L'Enfant's plan for the city The Mall was meant to reflect the "open" or "public" nature of the U.S. Government. As The Mall has been built out it's memorials, monuments, and meuseums have recorded the cultural history of the U.S.A.. In you're posts and discussions this week groups are to consider what memorials, monuments, and museums might be included to best reflect contemprorary American culture.
