  Wall-E may be the most dystopian “kids” movie ever made. Using a thin veil of Pixar slapstick cuteness, director Andrew Stanton (of A Bug’s Life and Finding Nemo) is able to tackle extremely dark subject matter involving the future of humanity, life on Earth, and capitalism. As is intended, whenever I watch the film, I find myself giggling through the horror of the world the director has created.
