Learning Portfolio Order Description Thіs unіt is cаlled: History and Philosoрhy of Science To successfully comрlete this task you must demonstrate that you competent in all four of the Unit Learning Outcomes (ULO) for the unit. ULO1 Explain the nature and processes of scientific knowledge construction using historical and contemporary theories. ULO2 Articulate ways in which science has impacted on society at different times in history. ULO3 Express a considered view about how society values scientific and no- scientific knowledge involving developing and demonstrating an understanding of the way that scientific knowledge relates to other forms of knowledge. ULO4 Construct explanations, form opinions and use judgments based on evidence to develop critical arguments on issues in science and society. The learning portfolio should include self-critique/reflection and justification of the evidence you have included to demonstrate that you have achieved the ULOs.
