Love poems

  In a well-composed and organized essay, compare and contrast the poets’ approaches to the unifying theme. What does each poem in the packet say about the theme? Point out similarities and differences by quoting lines and juxtaposing ideas. You do not have to use every single poem inside a given packet, but you must use at least two. Finish the Body of the essay with a comparison to your own experience of the overarching theme. For example: in a given time that you felt like an outsider, did you respond and navigate more like Ginsberg or more like Snyder?
