Students are expected to write an essay of up to 3500 words They will also be expected to submit an essay proposal. You may also present work in another medium, i.e. photographs, video, website with the approval of the tutors involved. You must already have the necessary technical skills. We cannot provide that. We can provide facilities, but again, you do need to discuss that with us. The object(s) produced must be supported by appropriate written material and must engage with the theoretical material and debates presented in the module Write a 3.500 word essay on the titles below. You must choose a question not previously attempted Note: •    Please refer to the marking guidelines in the Student handbook •    Essays should be double-spaced on one side of the paper and must include a bibliography of texts cited •    Essays should be fully referenced, preferably using the Harvard/Chicago system, e.g. (Hall, 1992: 120). •    You may include print advertisements as illustrations of your argument Always keep your own printed copy of the work that you submit
