Choose a high profile case that the media has reported on. Examine the positive and negative effects the media coverage may have caused. Consider and address the following: In the case you’ve selected – how was the media utilized; what was their involvement? What effect did the media coverage have on the case? How does media effect the criminal justice system, generally? Should media keep its current place in criminal cases, or be removed from the equation all together?
