The report (100 words)will be focussed around work carried out during practical sessions in which the
fundamentals of micromorphology (thin section sedimentary analysis) will be introduced – it is therefore
compulsory that you attend these practical sessions in order to complete the report. You should use
subheadings to structure your report, and clearly differentiate between your observations and
interpretations.
The report should refer to a range of sources of material, is likely to contain clearly-labelled illustrative
material (e.g. figures and tables etc.), and should contain a full reference list at the end.
